Arrow was renewed for a sixth season by The CW on January 8, 2017. The show shifted from its usual airing on Wednesdays at 8 PM to Thursdays at 9 PM from this season onwards. It premiered on October 12, 2017. It is currently taking place in conjunction with the fourth season of The Flash, the third season of Supergirl, and the third season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
